Did you ever read something and not understand one of the words?
Just use Google to define it (better/faster than Wikipedia, Dictionary.com, etc. — IMO)
Either in a Google Toolbar or at Google.com
Type: “define: then type or paste your word”
Click enter.
e.g. define:plebiscite:
