my good friend colleen wheeler, (phenom author and photoshop expert with Deke.com just reined me in with a dose of reality: where's the love for a mac?

thank you for that, cw! =)

ya know, i used to never look for... or use anything but solutions for the mac. have i gone to the dark side? no. i have to use 2 rigs - 1 pc, 1 mac and 3 monitors. i have to try to make websites look and work well on all types of platforms/browsers... but the majority of tools i use (as a web developer) are on a pc. so, being tired and having the attention span of a gnat, ii forgot to send out love for my mac friends.

BUT... since she mentioned it, i have used this one cool font management system for the mac and really liked it. (even more than font book)

Linotype FontExplorer X

here is the freeware version (unless they've changed the licensing)

http://mac.sofotex.com/download-131077.html

cheers and thanks again, colleen!

by the way, if you're interested in anything/everything photoshop, you might want to check out www.deke.com and their popular 'Martini Hour' podcasts they produce. Deke and Colleen kick off the shoes, drink martinis and bring in the world's best photoshop experts to talk shop. it's really worth a listen.
